This policy explains what personal information PICKaLOOK collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

PICKaLOOK Limited, a company registered in Ireland. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at hello@pickalook.app.

What we collect

• Your email address and the date you joined, if you add yourself to our waitlist using the form on this site.
• Basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider receives automatically whenever you visit any website.

We do not ask for your name, payment details or any other information on this site.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• We use your email address only to tell you when PICKaLOOK opens, and to give you early access. We do this because you gave us your consent by submitting the form.
• We use technical information to keep the website running and secure, which is in our legitimate interest as a business.

We do not sell your email address, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to PICKaLOOK.

Who we share it with

We use these services to run the site. They process information on our behalf:

• Supabase stores the waitlist. Our Supabase database is hosted in the EU (Ireland).
• Vercel hosts this website.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this site, so your browser connects to Google when the page loads and Google receives your IP address.

Some of these providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on legal safeguards for international transfers, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics. We store a single note in your browser to remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice. If we add analytics or similar tools in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until we have finished using the waitlist to tell people about launch, whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To do any of these, email hello@pickalook.app.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
